Euphraxia ... (pronounced 'you-fr-asia') is a 'Faerie Name', that means 'To delight the heart and mind' ...

Euphraxia features two dancers... it's founders, Leslie and Diana, who truly believe they are 'dance soul mates'.

They are proud to be a dedicated American Tribal Style Bellydance troupe, based in Buffalo, NY. Both Leslie and Diana are Fatchance Bellydance American Tribal Style Bellydance Certified Instructors, and Euphraxia, is a Sister Studio, of Fatchance Bellydance, in San Francisco, California.

In 2009, Euphraxia will be celebrating their 3 year anniversary -- and as part of that, they will be sharing information about ATS, as well as performing and teaching at several events and festivals. They are currently on a mission to spread their love for American Tribal Style Dance, all over the WNY area, and beyond. Nothing gives them more joy, than dancing, with fellow tribal 'sisters and brothers', creating the kind of harmony and energy that only tribal dance can create.

Also, in 2008, Euphraxia was proud to present the debut of their student troupe, Red Moon Tribal, a fantastic group of dedicated American Tribal Style Bellydancers, who have studied enthusiastically and passionately, with us, for the last year.

Leslie and Diana would like to thank the amazing, wise, and talented Carolena Nericcio, and her beautiful, inspiring troupe -- the ladies, of Fatchance Bellydance... for ATS, for the magic of it all, for educating, for inspiring, for forging ahead, and above all else, for giving women all over the world, something to be truly proud of -- no matter what their age, shape, size, or color.
